Life in the 'pan.

Winning at life
I invited the lady from down the road and her son to dinner at my house yesterday. I have eaten dinner at their house every tuesday for the last couple of months, so I thought it was only fair I should cook once....

I have only just mastered getting mash potatoes, vegetables and meat to be ready at the same time, so I kept the meal pretty basic. I made Macaroni cheese.. and had cup-a-soup as an entree.

Being the clever person I am, I had it all ready on exactly 730 when my guests arrived (and had time to hide the cup-a-soup packets mwhaha). Plus, I made a CHOCOLATE SELF SAUCING PUDDING from SCRATCH.... Which I popped into the oven merely seconds before the bell rang, and which filled the kitchen with lovely smells during the course of the meal, and was ready 5 minutes after we had all finished eating the macaroni.

Does it make me less of a modern woman that I am stoked with myself for timing cup-a-soup, Macaroni Cheese and Chocolate Self Saucing pudding Dinner precisely?

Did that sentence make sense? I have just been marking student's "News Broadcast Scripts", of which I am sure 40% of were Babelfished.

(its 1130pm here. I was working at home!!!! I could have done it at school today, but instead I read Harry POtter).
